Introduction
  • A Silver Server is a small server with a great community and a lot of different options for players, and with 3 worlds.
  • Each world has it's own rules and style of play. 
  • You will spawn in Chaos, a vanilla-ish hardcore PVP world.
  • In order to access the other worlds (Survival and Creative), you must become "Trusted". 
  • The server is Pirate friendly.
Passwords / Registration
  • Because the server is in offline mode, we use AuthMe to secure accounts
  • When you join the server, it asks you to log in, just choose a password and remember it
  • e.g. /register MadeUpPassword
  • Try not to use obvious passwords (12345, login, password etc.)
  • You can change it at any time using /changepassword oldpassword newpassword
Admin Help
  • The admin, moderators or trusted players are usually there to help, but do not spam chat by asking constantly
  • Please read the whole wiki before asking questions
  • Any other questions or problems can be sorted out using the Contact page
Rules
  • Keep your account secure, "My brother was on my account" is not an excuse.
  • These rules apply to all worlds (Chaos, Survival and Creative).
  • There are other, world specific rules. For them, see that world's page.
General rules:
  • No griefing, ie: Destroying blocks placed by other players, flooding structures, destroying plants (Note that this rule doesn't apply in Chaos).
  • Do not use mods, hacks, glitches or exploits. This includes, flying, noclip, invincibility, speed, minimap, xraying, duping hacks and invisible texture packs.
  • No unathorised usage of other people's accounts.
  • No impersonation of mods or admins.
  • No mob traps.
  • Use a decent name, not Notch or anyone like that, or XzImPuLzEsXz because it makes you look stupid.
  • Please stick to 1 account name.
Chat rules:
  • Do not ask to be "Trusted" until you have been on the server for a decent amount of time, and do not ask to be OP'd.
  • Act maturely (There is no age limit, as long as you act like an adult).
  • No advertising / talk about other servers.
  • No begging.
  • No blatant sexism, racism, or hate speech targeted at specific users.
  • Only english is allowed in global chat ([G]), make a chat channel or private chat if you are going to use another language.
  • Don’t spam the chat with useless rubbish (including deathspam), make your own chat channel (/ch help).
  • Please don’t complain about lag or server restarts (although please do mention it, as otherwise I might not be aware).
Notes:
  • The admins will not teleport you to spawn or a friend, so don't ask.
  • The admins will not make it day for you, use beds.
  • The admins will not spawn items for you, get them yourself.
Banning policy:
  • If you are reporting a ban to the mods, you must supply some form of proof for your claims.
  • You may appeal bans on the Contact page, posting a ban appeal anywhere else will result in it being ignored and deleted.
Commands:
Registering commands:
  • /register passwordhere - For registering to the server (because we are Pirate friendly).
  • /login passwordhere - To login after registering.
  • /changepassword - Displays info on how to change password.
General commands:
  • /sneak - Toggles sneaking, on by default to make you harder to spot.
  • /kill or /suicide - To kill yourself, useful for when stuck in a cave or completely lost. You will lose your inventory.
  • /world - Tells you which world you are in.
  • /list or /who or /online - Lists the players currently ingame, can also be world specific (e.g. /list Chaos lists all the people in Chaos).
  • /seen username - Tells you first and last login date of a player (e.g. /seen AS1LV3RN1NJA).
  • /lagmem - Checks if the server is lagging (Under 10 TPS or a low % of memory free means the server is lagging).
  • /chunkme - Resends the chunk you are in (Useful if you are stuck in a chunk error).
  • /elistbans - Lists recent bans.
  • /ebaninfo username - Info on if / why someone is banned (e.g. /ebaninfo AS1LV3RN1NJA).
Chat commands:
  • /me message - For messages in 3rd person, try it!
  • /tell username message - For private messaging 1 other person (e.g. To send AS1LV3RN1NJA a private message of "Hello", /tell as1 Hello).
  • /tell username - To start a private conversation with 1 other person. (e.g. /tell AS1LV). You then no longer need to keep typing /tell username message.
  • /ch help - For help starting a private channel for chat with 3 or more people.
  • /ch g - To go back to Global chat after being in another chat (or a private conversation).
Shortcuts:
  • /help and /rules - Directs you here (Useful for answering newb questions.
  • /r /rt /rtf /rtfw - Shortcuts to tell people to read the wiki, progressively more angry.
  • /website and /wiki - Shortcut to tell people or remind yourself of the website.
  • /news or /changelog - For a list of changes to the server.
  • /motd - Re-displays the Message of the day (join message).
  • /pl - Used to list the plugins the server is currently using.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does [G] mean?
  • Global chat. If you want to create another chat channel, use /ch help for instructions.
Do beds set spawn?
  • Yes.
Where is the server hosted? Is it 24/7?
  • The server is hosted on the admin's (AS1LV3RN1NJA's) home computer in North East England, and is normally 24/7.
  • Donations go towards buying hardware for a proper server to host from, which will mean less lag and more features.
Someone's cheating! What do I do?
  • If you suspect anyone of cheating, tell the Admin or an OP.
Who is the admin?
  • AS1LV3RN1NJA (aka ASN, Silver Ninja etc.). I'm a Rabbit.
Where do I appeal bans?
  • The contact page.
  • Ban appeals elsewhere will be ignored and deleted.
